Marketplace Mall

Located in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, the Marketplace Mall is a perfect spot for shopping, dining or even grabbing a yummy treat. The Celtic Shop is one of the most unique shops in the Marketplace, with items that are hand-picked from the beautiful hills of Ireland and Scotland. If you’re looking to get in touch with your inner hippie side, you’ll want to check out Hippie Lane, a fun little shop that prides itself on being a lifestyle experience and offers handcrafted soaps, handmade crafts, and essential oils. Trunk of Man and Lids are two great spots that the men roaming Gatlinburg will enjoy. Besides, what’s better than leaving Gatlinburg with a new hat and a beard that you can be proud of? The For Bare Feet Shop has plenty of options to make your toes feel good and their socks make excellent gifts! Within the multi-level Mountain Mall, you’ll find cigars, cowboy boots, jewelry, knick-knacks, and more! However, that’s not all you’ll find! The Mountain Mall also contains pieces of history that are connected to our roots at Bearskin. The Ogle’s General Store opened in 1850 in Gatlinburg and moved to the site where the Mountain Mall sits today in 1910. Take time to check out the then and now photos on display! The shops that you’ll find in the mall today are surrounded by the spirit of the mountains. Appalachian mountain music can be heard throughout the hallways, you’ll see a moonshine still as well as two indoor waterfalls.
